500 ml bottle into a tulip snifter. An October 2023, release, had 12/4/24.
Pours an opaque apricot color- one of the few fruits not in this, on the first pour. No head, no lacing. Aromas of rum, orange, coconut, some pineapple, light mango, a hint of lime. Flavors of rum, orange, lime, some pineapple, light coconut. Smooth, a very good lighter medium body, appropriately carbonated on the low side.
Probably would have been better to not wait fourteen months to have this, but it was still enjoyable. The rum barrels and the oranges are the standouts, but all the add- ins show pretty well. Was better before the voluminous sediment started pouring, than after.

This one looks like a smoothie when its poured. Its chunky, ugly and unappealing. The aroma is an array of fruits with a sharp note of rum. Taste follows the nose with the fruit dominating the beer - notes of pineapple, orange, and coconut. The rum is sharp and pronounced but comes through primarily on the back end of the profile. Feel is thick, chunky and almost gritty from all the fruit debris in it. Moderate carbonation.
Overall this isn't one Id pick up again ... I had another one of these imperial fruited beers rested in rum barrels from Saint Errant that was way better than this one. Its not the idea, its just the execution in this one that is not for me.
