500 ml bottle into a snifter. A 2023 release, had 11/11/23.
Pours near black and opaque, with no head and a little oily film on the glass. Aromas of bourbon, vanilla, cocoa, malt, some oak. Flavors of bourbon, vanilla, malt, oak, light caramel. Has a spicy flavor. Smooth, a good but thinner for the style full body, it drinks pretty flat in a seemingly unintentional way.
The Wild Turkey barrels are terrific and there’s a solid vanilla presence. The thinness and near total lack of carbonation is a little bit of a downside, but it’s still very good overall. Best fully warmed.

Pours a thicc, viscous, oily black consistency. Completely opaque, shiny dark black. No head to speak of - it really doesn't show much life. I want at least some kind of a head here.
Aroma is amazing. Notes of bourbon, wet oak, vanilla, roasted malt and barley. Rich and decadent.
Taste follows the nose with notes of bourbon, wet oak, roasted malt and barley. The vanilla is the star of the show though - its rich, sweet, and real.
Feel is thick, full bodied, creamy. I do think it would benefit from a bit more carbonation, but that is a small quibble.
Overall it is a delicious stout from Saint Errant.
