Poured from an undated 16 oz. can: deep golden and clear hue with a sustained foamy white head.
The aroma is quite surprising with aromatic tropical fruit aromas. This is not the aroma of a "German-style pilsner," though it is refreshing.
The flavor does have the unmistakable bit of domestic hops, however, the description on the can states that German Saphir hops are used. It is crisp, and dry with hints of lemon and very faint grapefruit. It is a very good American-style pilsner to me. For a hot, late-summer day in Florida, it is perfect.

This one a gift from my good friend and Phytogen cotton seed representative Marvin Stewart. Pours clear, deep gold producing slightly more than a finger of foamy, somewhat lasting, white head that recedes into nothing, no surface cap, no collar, no lace. Aroma is cracker & biscuit, pilsner yeast, lemon, honey and grass with a thin fruitiness. Taste is biscuit, cracker, lemon, pilsner yeast, honey, grass, floral and overall very fruity. Very crisp with a lasting bitter finish and aftertaste. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with low-moderate carbonation it is slippery across the tongue, smooth and crisp with a light peppery prickle. A thin chalkiness hangs on the tongue long into the aftertaste. Not nearly as dry as is usual for the style it doesn't appear until late in the finish.
