Had this on 2017-09-02 in Lancaster, PA at The Fridge on tap.
A - Exceedingly-clear light red with a very short white head and little lace. It caught the attention of my compatriots at the table because of its red clarity.
S - Mild black currant and a hint of sour.
T - Yum. The black currant flavor is featured. I grow this berry in my garden so I know the flavor. This is a kettle-soured brew that is more tart than sour. The black currant flavor is quite apparent. The tartness is less than I experience when eating these berries fresh from the vine, but the black currant essence is evident while still being approachable by those not seeking puckering sourness. Basically, it's a light and refreshing, semi-tart-fruit-forward brew.
M - Light body and light-medium carbonation.
O - I enjoyed this beer. It had enough complexity that I could slowly sip and savor it. This is my first beer from Wrong Crowd, and based on this; I'll be looking for their beers again.
