A parti-gyle English-style Bitter. Parti-what?? We brewed our yearly WDR Barleywine and used the second runnings to brew a small beer! As WDR is so potent, we normally dump quite a bit of excess strong wort down the drain. This year we saved that wort and simultaneously brewed a small batch of ESB! After fermentation, the finished beer was re-fermented in the keg to mimic traditional low carbonation cask conditioning. Fruity esters on the nose with a nutty/biscuit malt body. Super drinkable!
