I had this beer on-tap in a teku glass at the brewery in Edinburgh.
Appearance: pale golden hue with a moderate haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: earthy and fruity with almost a dry herbal character on top of a moderate malt sweetness. Like … sage and mango, or something. Very interesting, and not bad at all.
Taste: sweeter than the aroma suggests, with that nice mango-ey character but also kind of a dry grass thing going on. It’s an interesting juxtaposition … I like it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess. Creamier than most 4.5% beers!
Overall: a solid session-strength hazy pale, with a nice depth of hop character and an overall … interesting-ness.

another outstanding beer from these guys, this one a real approachable hazy pale, not too thick and dense, not hopped to oblivion, nice low sessionable abv, right on for summertime, on tap at the brewery. the amount of low alcohol full flavored beer in scotland is just amazing, wish that culture would permeate the states a bit. this is blonde and light looking as these go, hazy yes but not in a way that makes it messy or heavy, and there is this huge puffy white head on it a few inches high, looks almost belgian in that regard, nice and lively. the aroma and flavor are a bit tropical from the hops, bitterness is low, greenness is zero, lychee and coconut, papaya and meyer lemon, zesty and bright, fresh as can be, and lighter than most on the malt side, not starchy and protein rich, its easier than that, just enough body and balance on the palate. the hops have some oils, a melon rind and lemongrass note as it warms a touch, and maybe a little bit of a tea-like herbal property, pretty quick on the swallow overall, and aided along by high flying carbonation that really gives this a lift, refreshing in a style that rarely checks that box for me, and well refined for this sort of thing. nice hop profile, a little bit southern hemisphere maybe, well dosed, limey at the end. a delicious drinker, and a distinctive brew in a samey style space, campervan is for real!
