On tap.
L: straw yellow, very hazy, thin head without much foam
S: dank, complex, yeasty, not hugely attractive
T: now I'm engaged. Quite sour, woody, bready, tart, very complex, some hints of fruit - maybe pineapple, some citrus? Interesting and unusual.
M: a little thin but ok
Overall: despite the unappealing look and smell, I like it.

Poured from 440mL can into a tall kitchen glass. Best by 10/30/22.
Appearance: medium-yellow hue with plenty of haze and two fingers of frothy white foam atop. Looking quite good indeed. Quite good.
Smell: earthy, herbal, and dank hops, atop a sweetish, interesting malt base. This is brewed with barley, wheat, and oats, and I think that adds a nice complexity. I like it.
Taste: much like the aroma, it's earthy and herbal, but there's a juicy component here that works really well. It almost finishes dry and herby, but the dank complexity in the middle is really working for me. Great.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a good level of carbonation and creaminess. More oats in all beers, please!
Overall: this beer doesn't check all the boxes of stuff I traditionally like, but the "juicy herbs" flavor really works for me (and is all the more commendable for not containing lactose or other brewing sugars). Really good stuff.

On tap. Quite hazy yellow color with off-white head. Aroma has dank hops with some fruity and herbal notes. Taste is dank and grassy, quite mild and easy drinking. Medium body and carbonation. Balanced and easy drinking with a light bitterness on the finish.

An APA that's not bad but nothing extraordinary. Perhaps Centennial! or Chinook? is what it's dominantly made of and remains quite reserved in that vein. Unfiltered and this quite nice to have this on tap because I like this as it is, the way it is hopped. Quite nice, good and refreshing drinking experience.
