Poured from 440mL can into a tall kitchen glass. Best by 7/31/23, so either it's not the freshest or they are *very* aggressive with their best-by dates.
Appearance: extremely murky yellow hue with two fingers of frothy white head atop which leave a nice lace on the glass. Pretty!
Smell: hop aroma is fresh, rich, citrusy and fruity, although without a bitter edge. Man, these guys know how to make beer. The aroma is making me a lot less worried about that best-by date.
Taste: slightly sweet malt but very smooth, with slightly tropical, slightly citrusy, slightly dank hops. Bitterness is practically nonexistent. They don't call this a hazy but man it sure has the characteristics of one; I love it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and a smooth creaminess. According to the label this is brewed with oat malt and flaked oats, so that might explain the silky smoothness.
Overall: it's a simple rule: I see Brew Your Mind, I buy Brew Your Mind.
