Poured from 440mL can into a tall kitchen glass. Best by 7/31/23, although from my experience Brew Your Mind has some pretty aggressive "best by" dates. The brewer calls this an "India Pale Ale", but it has all the characteristics of a hazy/NEIPA.
Appearance: medium yellow hue with an extremely turbid haze and a thick finger of frothy eggshell foam atop that leaves a nice lace on the glass. Pretty indeed.
Smell: earthy, herbal, dank hops, atop a slightly sweet base. The hops smell rich and fresh. A nicely dank take on the hazy; it really smells damn good.
Taste: this is one fine beer. Smooth and creamy malt (there's oats in this bad boy!) with a rich, fresh, juicy, dank, slightly earthy hop character. There's a little bit of bitterness to this one, but it's not over the top at all. This is an excellent beer.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and a nice, silky, smooth mouthfeel. The lowish carbonation hinders the creaminess a little bit, but the oats make up for it.
Overall: what an excellent beer. I'm developing the opinion that Brew Your Mind can do no wrong.
