Poured from 440mL can into a tall kitchen glass. Best by 9/15/23.
Appearance: light golden hue with a light-to-moderate haze and a thick finger of frothy eggshell foam atop. There's a little bit of lace left on the glass as the foam dissipates.
Smell: a nice, light malt with a rather pronounced yeastiness. There's a light hopping that seems to work with the yeastiness, though ... it's hard to describe: yeasty, yet clean and crisp. I'm down.
Taste: much like the aroma. There's a good, light malt flavor, combined with an above-average yeastiness that is offset somewhat by a light dose of green, fresh hops. This is a tasty beer.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and creaminess. Nice!
Overall: this is the first non-IPA/pale ale beer I've had from Brew Your Mind. Those are styles they do very well, so I was interested in how they'd do a lager. And guess what? They're good at it! Surprise!
