Poured from 440mL can into my Belvárosi sörvesztivál tulip. Best before 12/15/24.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a moderate haze and a thick head of frothy white foam. Definitely hazier than typical for the style, but maybe they're going for a kellerbier type thing here.
Smell: rich and yeasty with a subtle malt sweetness and a kind of spicy hop character. Again, if a kellerbier / zwickelbier version of a German pils is what they are going for here, then they are succeeding!
Taste: kind of a moderately sweet, toasty malt, with a more restrained yeastiness than the aroma. Hops are light, but nice. I like this beer.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and a good creaminess despite the lightness of the ABV. Nice!
Overall: a very tasty and absolutely drinkable beer; they call it a pilsner, I might call it a kellerber, but whatever it is, it is darn good.
