Poured from 375mL bottle into my Belvárosi sörfesztivál tulip. Best before 2/30/30 -- guess they expect you to store this one!
Appearance: medium orange hue with a moderate haze and a finger of ivory foam atop.
Smell: earthy, quite funky, and with a lovely apricot aroma. It's very nice, although maybe with a hint of diacetyl.
Taste: there's quite a bit of tartness in the flavor that wasn't really hinted at in the aroma. As you start to get past that bracing sourness, there's a rather malty, somewhat funky saison-type beer underneath, with plenty of earthiness. The apricot is stronger in the aroma than in the flavor, but it's definitely here too. It's very good, and I like a tart beer, but I think I would enjoy this beer even more if the sourness were dialed back a little.
Mouthfeel: lightish body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a very good beer, but like I said, for my personal taste, I think this beer would be well-served by a little less tartness.
