Poured from 440mL can into my Higgins Ale Works tulip. Best by 12/8/25.
Appearance: medium yellow hue with tons of turbid haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: incredibly dank and earthy with a sweet base that results in a juicy dankness. This style is not for everyone, but I really like it.
Taste: sweet with tons of dank, earthy, grassy, herbal hop character. There’s some hop burn going on here, too, but that’s the price you pay with this kind of beer. I don’t like it quite as much as the more tropical BYM hazies, but still, it’s damn good.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a good carbonation and a rich, smooth creaminess. Great!
Overall: this beer is dank and rich and earthy, and for a couple reasons I wouldn’t want to drink two in a row. For me, it’s like a huge sweet stout or something: great to sit and savor, but just as a once-in-a-while treat.
