A classic German helles lager. Clean, floral, refreshing.

Poured from 440mL can into my Higgins Ale Works tulip. Best by 2/15/26.
Appearance: pale yellow hue with a dash of haze and a thin layer of frothy ivory foam atop. It is nice but it poured with very little head.
Smell: light malt with a little bit of sweetness and hints of honey. Low-volume, but not bad.
Taste: quite light with some sweetness to the malt and kind of a very light fruity character. Again, like the aroma, this is pretty good but also low in intensity.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: this is a decent enough lager, but not the best helles out there. BYM is incredible at their IPAs but the lagers just don’t really stand out among the crowd.
