The latest addition to our experimental series is a double cold-hopped hazy double IPA, with the same malt base and yeast as our previous Sixty Four beer, but hopped with a blend of Sabro and Motueka hops.

Poured from 440mL can into my Bierwerk Züri glass. The best-by date sticker fell off the bottom of the can, but given that Human Experiment Sixty Six is out now, it may be a little past that (though honestly the way BYM dates their cans, it's still probably pretty fresh).
Appearance: medium yellow hue with tons of haze and a thick head of frothy ivory foam.
Smell: sweet malt with lots of stone fruit aromas, plus some pineapple and passionfruit. Another sweet but nicely complex DIPA from BYM.
Taste: there's sweetness here and some pineapple and apricot flavors, but there's also just like a ton of hop burn. Their dry-hopping might have got a bit overzealous on this one. Still interesting, but not a hazy DIPA I'd reach for again.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: the flavor in this is just out-of-balance. The aromas are quite good, but the hop burn is kinda something else -- and I don't mind a bit of hop burn!
