On tap at the 2022 NCBMF with a name of River Otter Red.
Appearance. Reddish-brown body with a good white head.
The aroma and flavor are overly earthy. Moderately bitter and unharmonious.

Copper in color with reddish hues, long lasting medium creamy beige head, high clarity
Malt forward with aromas of caramel, toast, toffee and bread crust with a subtle, low earthy hop aroma.
Flavor is also malt forward with toasty, nutty, caramel and toffee flavors. Low earthy hop flavors. Clean finish and properly attenuated
Medium low bodied with medium low carbonation, not really much of an alcohol warmth and perhaps a slightly creamy feel as well
A good example of the style, not much to critique except maybe the roast aromas and flavors are a bit too pronounced. I only wish that more breweries would brew this style on a regular basis.
