It is what it is. (And I need a break from Aussie beer.)

Certainly an improvement over other far more bland James Squire beers, this particular beer has a solid flavour but I still feel like it is very safe in it's kind of flavour profile.

On tap at James Squires in Perth. Slightly tangy, mildly sweet, very light bodied. Almost syrupy, more of a sipper. Not such an easy drinker. Could be the Aussie hops throwing me off.

From bottle, Pours amber with a offwhite head. Aroma of malt, caramel, nuts. Flavor is light sweet, malty, caramel, nuts, light grass. Thin to medium body, lively carbonation.

At their Melbourne brew pub and again in bottle.
A best looking in their line up. thick, foamy, long lasting, cream-colored head, and lots of lace. Clear red amber with tiny bubbles.
S too faint but great toffee with fruit and malt whiff.
T follows smell. Best part. Crisp finish light and clean good malt bill fine beer 3.5
F fine for crispness and finish. 3.5
O 3.5 good core beer A bit watery but I'd definitely try it again. Good food beer.
