DDH hazy TIPA, Citra and Strata. Smell, taste and repeat. Take a moment to stop and smell the flowers, if you get me, cause this things rips! Just how many notes were there in this delectable sipper? I asked the brew crew and the list goes on and on. Tastes and smells like: orange sherbet, cold pressed green tea, blue sage, white grape juice, vanilla frosting, regret, Christmas tree, pineapple/banana smoothie, ripe honeydew, shire grown long bottom leaf, funnel cake with boysenberry jam, the signature green cheek triple ipa smell, zebra gum, schnozberries, candied grapefruit, cake batter, Dole fruit cup, and super fresh lychee.

Went over to Green Cheek with Jason, Sonny and Gregg. Had this one fourth of my flight and initially gave it a 4.00 on Untappd, writing “Outstanding.” I just remember being bummed later when they ran out of cans of Playing It Loud because that one was great to me (almost a 4.5). So I picked up a 4-pack of this when I left hoping it would be better in can formal. Actually had one when I got to the hotel and bumped it up to a 4.25, writing “Much better out of the can.” Hoping that’s the same with this review. Untappd description had it as a “DDH Hazy TIPA, Citra & Strata. Smell, taste, & repeat. Take a moment to stop and smell the flowers, if you get me, cause this things rips! Poured a light golden hazy color with three fingers of rocky white head. Could see some bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. World-class foamy lacing. Almost perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled big Citra, followed by Strata, orange creamsicle, mango, pineapple, melon, fruit cup mix, peach, pear, mixed berry and orange candy. Just as good from the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted even better than the nose. In order got Citra, Strata, orange creamsicle, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, melon, mixed fruit cup, peach, pear, mixed berry, orange candy, citrus pulp and some lingering spice. Didn’t taste 10.5 pct., but it tasted up there. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Long, dry finish. (Feel - 4.50)
About as good as I could have hoped for. Just an excellent hazy TIPA. (Overall - 4.25)

Sweet tropical hoppy, orange citrus, and tropical hoppy-dank aromatics on this one! Taste follows with a tropical hoppy and orange-grapefruit citrus-dank swallow...as it warms, you get a faint hint of citrus booziness on the nose and palate. This is a juicy and smooth triple...it hides the big ABV really well! This is Great!
