Packaged on 3/11/2022 - consumed on 4/13/2022. Poured from a tall-boy can into my Harriet pils glass.
Brilliant maize body with three fingers of rocky foam. Full sticky lacing; excellent retention.
Orange, grapefruit, and berry notes in the nose. Faint lager notes; crackery malt. Some resinous notes emerge at times as well.
Somewhat sharp, bitter palate entry, accentuated by the (pils?) malt base. Fruity, lightly grassy, with hints of unripe pear. Finishes fairly dry and crisp with no off notes. Mosaic seems to be doing more of the heavy lifting in the flavor profile than Citra (more "berry" complexity than orange notes), but the yeast is likely contributing as well.
Light-bodied, snappy, and refreshing with good carbonation.
Tasty, hoppy lager - an interesting stylistic hybrid. Pairs well with food (e.g. chicken tikka masala)!
