Hazy Triple IPA w/ Citra, Strata & Mosaic. Double dry hopped with Citra and then hit with equal parts Mosaic and Strata. Raw wheat and old fashioned oats help create the base, but it’s really all about the hops for this one. Milky yellow in color, with flavorful hoppy layers of passionfruit, guava, and kumquat.

Type: 16-oz. can

Glass: Pure Project 16-oz. brandy snifter glass
Price: $24.00 for a 4-pack
From: Green Cheek Beer Company in Orange, Calif.
Purchased: July 10, 2021
Consumed: July 23, 2021
Misc.: Canned on July 9, 2021; Split 4-pack with Sonny
Grabbed a 4-pack of this after really liking a taster on a recent trip to Green Cheek Brewing on the way home from vacation. Gave it a 4.50 on Untappd and wrote “”Mamma Mia!” in Mauro Ranallo’s voice. World-class.” Green Cheek’s website described this as “Hazy Triple IPA w/ Citra, Strata & Mosaic. Poured a light golden hazy color with four fingers of white frothy head. Just a few bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Almost perfect foamy spiderweb lacing. Perfect retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Strata jumped out on the nose, followed by Citra and Mosaic. Also strawberry, blueberry, passion fruit, guava, grapefruit, weed, dank pine, grass, bubblegum and floral. Even better out of the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted better than the nose. Strata led the way, followed by Citra and Mosaic. Also strawberry, passion fruit, guava, grapefruit, blueberry, weed, dank pine, grass, floral, bubblegum, citrus rind and papaya. Did not taste 10.2 pct. ABV. (Taste - 4.50)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long finish. (Feel - 4.75)
About as good as I remembered it. Just lovely. Excellent, almost world-class. (Overall - 4.50)
