Australian Galaxy gets its moment in the spotlight with this West Coast jammer using a simple recipe of Pilsner Malt and Galaxy hops. We went lighter on the bitterness, doubled up the whirlpool hopping, and then layered in all that Galaxy dry hop throughout fermentation. Flavor profile? Big on the lychee, with some Orange marmalade vibes, and a bit of chamomile.

Was lucky enough to get this beer and a few others on a recent work trip to Reno. Untappd description for this one was “Australian Galaxy gets its moment in the spotlight with this West Coast jammer using a simple recipe of Pilsner Malt and Galaxy hops. Poured a light amber clear color with 5-to-6 fingers of rocky white head. Could see lots of bubble streams coming up from the sides and bottom of the glass. Excellent uneven foamy lacing. World-class foamy retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled Galaxy, red grapefruit, orange marmalade, peach and caramel. Smelled even better from the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted was not as good as the nose. In order got Galaxy, red grapefruit, orange marmalade, peach, caramel, toffee, herbal, bitter soap and lingering peppery spice. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Long, bitter, spicy finish. (Feel - 4.00)
I definitely underrated this one but I liked it. (Overall - 4.00)
