I'm trying this beer at the brewery. It poured a clear amber with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had caramel malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt start and subtle clean bitter finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

16 ounce can, purchased a couple days ago at the taproom. I believe Loose Rail has just started canning recently so I think this was canned over the past week or so. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a hazy reddish/amber color with about a half inch off-white head that stuck around for a while. Small amount of lacing. The brew smells mostly like caramel and bready malt, along with some earthiness. Taste is similar to the aroma, with caramel, bready malt, earthy hop, and some toffee flavors noticeable. Mainly sweet but with a light bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's smooth and a bit slick with a moderate amount of carbonation. Easy enough to drink. I like this brew, worth a try if you're ever at Loose Rail.
