Bado Brewing "Zed's In The Bog - Cranberry Wit"
on tap at the brewery on 9 December 2017
Notes: Hazy golden and pinkish body beneath a short head of white foam that holds fairly well and leaves some nice lacing behind. The aroma displays a light amount of delicately sweetish malt and generic fruit with just a hint of spiciness. The flavor opens up greatly and the cranberry is clear. It's not tart like cranberry juice would be as it's mixed in with the Belgian-style witbier but it does lend some minor acidity. It's low in bitterness but hardly any is needed, and it seems perfectly in balance. Light-medium in body and gently effervescent. Overall quite refreshing and interesting. Well worth trying!
