Light body with a mild maltiness, big juicy hop aroma, lots of hoppy flavor balanced by a moderate bitterness. Big citrus and pine.

Clear amber brew with plenty of foam in the Stella Artois goblet. Prickly carbonation with a medium body. some malt flavor to start and a hint of sweetness. Some citrus, lemony taste, bitter peel, astringency in the finish. Overall this is rather plain and bitter, but certainly drinkable. And the citrus flavor does add to the interest. From the 12 oz can stamped "CITRA" and dated 09/09/24.

12oz can purchased at Huckleberry's, in Spokane, WA, for $1.99.
Poured a clear golden color, with a good sized off-white head. Head had pretty good staying power, and left a decent amount of lace.
Citrusy and piney hop aroma, and a
sweet, bready maltiness in the background. The aroma is not particularly assertive.
Taste is similar to the nose. It tastes like a mellow, slightly overly malty take on a light WCIPA, along with a bit of a tea-like flavor.
Medium bodied, with a slightly watery mouth feel.
Pretty meh stuff. Not bad but kinda weak. Expected better, based on what I've previously had from Level.

Canned on Nov 12th, reviewed the folowing March 5th, so discount accordingly. Lighter golden amber pour, thin head. A fair amount of floaters and sediment. Piney aroma. Taste is bitter and a little flat - again we're 20+ weeks out now. Light carbonation, and not much else with a vaguely off note in the finish. I think this would be better if it started life with more umph behind it.

Bought a 6 pack of cans at Roths in Salem, OR. This might be the most bland IPA I've ever had and I've been drinking good beer for over 40 years starting with a 3 yr tour in Germany in the late 70's :^ /
Pours a hazy orange with a 1/4 inch head, some decent lacing, nice looking not much aroma to speak of (although my sniffer is 66 yrs old). There's just nothing there in the taste department either initially or afterwards. Tasteless and flat, not much bitterness, not any flavor whatsoever. I'll have to check the date on this but it can't be that old.
EDIT: Checked the bottled date and it was less than 6 weeks ago so not that old.

A chill hazed yellow to orange glowing body is capped by a thin off white frothy head. Moderate retention, minimal lacing.
Very unusual aroma and not at all what I was expecting. Straight up honeydew melon and banana blend. 50/50.
Seriously, what an interesting brew! Again dominated by melon, but the estery banana-ness is nowhere to be found. A wonderful freshly milled grain, cereal like flavor is strong on the back end. Like Honey Bunches of Oats with a side of fresh fruit.
Smooth and creamy, almost. Once again an anomaly. Like cream soda but with an earthy, grainy bite for a finish. Well balanced, with the slightest edge to bitter. Easy to drink, but perhaps mostly due to my curiosity.
If this was labeled a "Belgian Pale Ale", just on aroma alone, I'd be more sold. Still, loving what's going on at Level Beer. Unique to the core. Cheers.
