Hazy gold with three fingers of off white head. Rings of lace appear as the head drops.
Smell is mostly malty.
Taste is mild fruitiness and bready malts.
Mouthfeel is light with good carbonation. Finish is very lightly dry and balanced.
Overall a strange beer.

For a summer beer, Neon Swimsuit us average looking at best. Light orange and cloudy with a wispy white foam head that dissipates and leaves little lace.
Smells a bit like an old school slightly skunked pale ale. Citrus zest, a touch of pine, even a bit of spaghetti sauce.
The first thing noticed in the flavor (for me) was a muted diacetyl butteriness. Blended with a caramelized honey and some skunky old lager hopiness. All together just weird flavors yet somehow they work!
Slightly slick along with being undercarbonated, this beer manages to pull of a refreshing quality but just barely. Balanced, favoring sweet.
This beer is a bit of a mess. Not exactly what I'd reach for during the dog days of summer, but I can they not of worse. All in all, just an average beer which saddens me as Level has been on their game lately.
Cheers.
