The easy-drinking style of beer made in Mexico. Light-bodied, crisp, clean malt character with mild corn flavor. Goes great with a lime!

Had today at the brewery. Pours an amber golden color with a decent head that dissipates rather quickly. Aroma malted barley and sweet corn. taste is quite mild like a normal Mexican Lager, but with a little more hop taste than usual for a Mexican lager. Rated 8-6-2024

Poured from 19.2oz stovepipe can into a dimpled mug. Canned 3/7/24.
Appearance: pale yellow-golden hue that is definitely paler than I would associate with a “Vienna lager”. However, the brewery doesn’t really market it as such — rather, a “Mexican lager”. So we’ll go by that kind of amorphous standard. Not too bad looking, though.
Smell: slightly sweet, slightly corny malt with a bit of adjunct-ey flatness. Not bad, but not richly flavorful like the best examples of Mexican lagers.
Taste: light, just a tiny bit sharp from what feels like adjunct grains, and a little yeasty. Honestly not too bad for what it’s trying to be.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: reasonably refreshing, although still, I’d like a little more smoothness or richness of flavor or something. So, honestly not bad, but there’s room for improvement.

taster flight at Level 1. Golden pour, light haze, small frothy white head. Aroma is grainy, sweet, light corn notes. Taste is straight up adjunct lager, sweet, oily, but flavorful. refreshing.

Medium light level of white head. Clear, medium gold look. Somewhat subtle, slightly toasted, fermented grain aroma, with a very slight caramelized note. Medium light amount of lightly toasted barley malt and just the slightest touch of herbal hops, on the side. Medium light and fairly smooth mouthfeel.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours straw yellow orange with a fluffy white head. Smells of cereal grain, nice and strong. Tastes of cereal grain with some nice fruit notes. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.
