Look: Clear pale yellow with a substantial ghost white head that erupts to a pillow and slowly settles, leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Floral hops, soda crackers, grassy notes, pilsner malt, and wet hay
Taste: Starts off with fresh cut grass and soda crackers that upon appearing, are immediately joined by a nice floral bouquet that consists of mimosa, spirea, and California buckeye. Pilsner malt and crackers continue atop the floral goodness until it closes
Mouthfeel: Light but full, very clean, medium-high carbonation, and clean and crisp on the finish with a very light dry note
Overall: I dig it. This is a tasty German Pils and comes across well-made and true-to-style as well. Also, I dug the concept of this 5th Anniversary pack as it had two IPAs and two Pilsners – both of which I think these folks make tasty examples of. Hitting the spot on this 98-degree day
