Look: Opaque rich orange with a fast-forming poofy head that holds as a pillow for some time, ever-so-slowly receding to reveal sticky lacing left behind
Aroma: Orange, tangerines, strawberries, pine, fir needles, Juicy Fruit gum, boysenberries, and sweet bready malt
Taste: Kicks off with a citrus fruit salad that includes a slew of flavors that encompass both rind and flesh and soon joined by conifer notes as well. Berries weave their way into the field and malt stays in the background for support. Closes with citrus, pine, and a light bite
Mouthfeel: Full, a little slick, medium-high carbonation, and lightly dry on the finish
Overall: This is tasty stuff. The other half of this Fifth Anniversary 4-pack and a damn good WCIPA at that. Nice citrus, conifer, and berry notes throughout, good malt support, a bite, and some dryness sum up this delicious IPA and it is one I would seek out again it jives with me so much. Recommended
