FH Italian Pilsner, enjoyed at one of their brewpubs during the 2024 FH season.
Pours a faint gold in the glass, with lasting lacing. I’m getting a faint aroma with much more hoppy notes on the sip, along with what is just a well rounded crispy boi.

16oz can purchased at Huckleberry's, in Spokane, Washington, for $4.29. The can doesn't specifically state that the variety of hops used was Tettnanger, but it is listed as such on untapped and on Level's own website. Canned on August 22nd, 2023, per the stamp on the bottom of the can. It also appears to say "Bochie Tettnang" at the same location.
Poured into a tall boy can glass (there's probably another, more technical name for it, but I don't know what it is), this was a slightly chill hazed lemony gold shade of amber, with a big sudsy bone white head. Beer negligee style lace.
Lightly citrusy and grassy in the nose.
Drinks like the aroma, light and soft. This would be a pleasant beer to drink on a warm day, as it feels around a full percentage point lower than it's listed 5.2 abv. Very likely crisp at the swallow.
Light bodied with a soft yet slightly crisp mouth feel.
This is extremely easy drinking stuff. I feel like I could drink a lot of this in a sitting, because it feels like drinking something considerably lighter than it actually is. Seems like a decent showcase for the featured hop, but also just very pleasant to drink.

draught
Light and creamy, white head. Medium amber appearance. Ample, yeasty, slightly musty, floral hop character and medium light toasted caramel malt aroma, all up front. Full but bright mouthfeel. Equal parts, a touch biting floral/herbal hops and medium light toasted malt, ending in a balanced trail off, to the finish.

I bought a 4 pack of this on 09/21/22 and took a gamble. Poured in a pint glass for the review.
Let's start with the look which is just short of perfect! A beautiful amount of foam that tops the glass like a dollop of vanilla ice cream. A darker gold slightly hazy color and some sticky lacing after drinking. I'd give it a 5 if it were clear but that's probably due to the fresh hops? Still beautiful! The smell is wet grass, earthy with a hint of floral and spicy like a Belgian yeast was used. A satisfying taste of spicy hops, wet grass, earth and a touch of floral. The feel is moderately bitter, dry and refreshing.
While it wasn't cheap at $19/4 pack/16oz. with Colorado tax, I'm extremely happy I took a chance. I understand the price of ingredients especially fresh hops keep rising. They did well brewing this!

Look: Almost clear yellow in color with a foamy white head that swells up and slowly settles to a lid, leaving webs of lacing behind
Aroma: A bouquet of flowers, freshly cut grass, spicy hop notes, pilsner malt, and some cracker-led aromas
Taste: Starts out with a blunt spicy hop note that comes across like macerating hop cones right off the bine along with some grass. The floral parade follows close behind with some sweet box and winter daphne in play, all atop a nice pilsner malt base and these go back and forth in dominating the palate until peppery hop notes return to the forefront to close it out
Mouthfeel: Light but full, very clean, medium-high carbonation, and crisp, clean, and dry on the finish
Overall: This is hitting the spot and awesome as well. I have always liked what these folks can do and have done with fresh hops so really wanted to try this and it lived up to my own hype. Not sure what the wet hop was that they used but it fits into a Czech Pilsner nicely with great spicy and floral fresh hop character evident throughout. It was definitely worth the purchase and recommended
