This beer is dedicated to all the pro brewers that told me I'd never amount to nothin'. It was all a dream! I used to read Homebrew magazines. Hanging Papazian pictures on my wall, every Saturday in the garage. Those days were the worst days, now we sip this brew when we are thirsty! It's all good baby, baby!

This beer pours a nice clear golden color with a decent foam head that stay for a little while. The aroma is a nice citrus flavor with a slight sweet bitterness. The taste is a good solid hop and malt like IPAs used to be. Good beer. BOD 5-7-2024. Rated 11-4-2024

Poured from 19.2oz stovepipe into a dimpled mug. The canning date is a bit hard to read, but I think it says 3/27/24. So not mega fresh, but probably not a problem for a west coast IPA.
Appearance: pale golden hue with a bit of haze, topped by two fingers of frothy ivory foam with just a hint of orange cast to it.
Smell: a bit sweet with a fair dose of lemongrassy hops. Not the most complex thing out there, but not bad.
Taste: malt is sweet, although reasonably well balanced with bitterness, and not as sweet as the aroma suggested. Hops are a bit lemony, a bit earthy, and generally a pretty classic west coast profile. Not bad at all.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: for an IPA in a stovepipe, it’s not bad at all. I’m actually kinda digging the classic old-school American IPA vibe of this beer.
