spontaneous beer with peaches, cool beer, but seems to be ageing a little weird maybe, like the color is off to me, much as i like the rest of it, kind of still and greyish, not appealing, not a common beer color, didnt catch a date or a vintage on the bottle, but it sort of has a decomposing look about it, very minimal head and carbonation, just kind of yucky color, which i guess suggests real fruit, but this aspect of the beer is odd anyway. the aroma and flavor are great though, as is the ferment, which is acidic leaning but with some funky character as well, lots of natural peach in play too, less broken down to my senses than it looks like in the glass, fuzzy and ripe and sweet and real, mostly through the second half of this, and kind of unmolested by malt, there is light sweetness from grain maybe, and its not without a beery foundation, but the fruit stands more or less on its own with the ferment at the climax of this, apricot character too, white wine, some slight vinegar but its actually not exceedingly sour, trace alcohol, wet earth, and light spiciness too, tannins and maybe a hint of oxidation as it warms up. more carbonation would do wonders for this. the color is a little hard to get past, but the fruit profile is real and ripe and obvious, the best part of this for sure. because of the look it seems poorly refined, but it tastes good and is certainly interesting. a weird one, not their best in terms of overall quality, but the taste is undeniable. why does it look like this, id score it much higher overall if it was at all visually appealing...

Pours a slightly hazy golden with a very small head. Aroma is slightly sour & fruity. Taste is definitely sour, but not much peach flavor. Not great but decent, have had better. Had with Thanksgiving dinner.
