West coast style IPA. No caramel malts are used in this style. Malt has a very small part in the flavor of this beer. This beer is all about the hops. We used Citra, Simcoe, Columbus, Mosaic, and Cascade hops. This beer achieves a delicate balance of citrus, fruit, and floral notes.

12 oz. bottle -
Pours golden. A rich head slowly descends and stops. Lacing sticks.
The smell is of robust citrus and pine. Spicy bread in the back.
The taste is of pine with a citrus touch (orange, some grapefruit). Spicy black pepper in the finish.
It has a sharp medium body.
Hop-forward in the classic West Coast style. Piney, citric and spicy. Aggressively hopped, but enough malt to keep it together. An excellent IPA!

Had this at WF (Amazon) while the wife was shopping. Maybe it tasted better because I was in a grocery store and drinking a beer instead of picking out fruits and veggies. Good balance, decent nose, some pine but not much citrus.
