Picked up a 16 ounce mason jar Growler from the craft beer Quick Stop 7-24-18 for $4. Consumed on 7-29-18.
Beer poured black as night with a nice tan head with the initial pour.
Nose has some Licorice and some mildly roasted malts.
Taste is really well-balanced. Mildly roasted malts combine with Licorice and some dark chocolate over a substantial malt body. Hopped very well as there is a well struck balance between sweetness and hoppiness.
Mouthfeel is medium to full-bodied and smooth.
Overall this is a dangerously quaffable beer that I would compare to Great Divide Yeti for quality and flavor.
