Fruity and juicy. The Huell Melon hops imparts flavors and aromas of honeydew, cantaloupe, and strawberry.

This was like a NE style IPA, but it was more tropical. It was crisp but mild. I wish it was a bit thicker and bolder, but it was still a solid brew.

On tap at brewery:
Pours an amber-leaning golden, high haze but translucent. Head is white, medium collar, and provides lines of lacing.
Nose has a biscuit-like malt upon which melon notes are added. They change from ripe to lightly bitter/old. There's a hint of spice with a bit more effort.
Taste is a little more pale ale in its balance. The clean malt notes stands up to the lighter melon, strawberry, and very light grape notes. The end shows a leaning towards a lingering bitterness that never gains much momentum.
Not overly juicy as the brewery claims, but also not very bitter. Maybe an attempt at NE IPA style, but it is not so claimed, and Durant get there. It is fun to drink, fairly soft and refreshing, but big IPA fans might feel it's missing something.
