Good IPA!!! Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, this beer features a medium sized foamy white head with good retention and thick bands of frothy lacing on the glass. The gold color is clear on the first pour then slightly hazy after that. Lots going on with aroma and flavor. There is some pineapple and grapefruit up front with notes of orange/tangerine and a little piney bitterness. It all works well together. Mouthfeel is rich and juicy with a touch of bitterness and alcohol presence. A fairly substantial IPA. Well worth a try!!!!

Big citrus and pineapple nose n this one. Rocky head has decent staying power. Flavor starts with the tropical fruit we've come to expect but also brings assertive hops and resin into the finish. I wouldn't say you taste the alcohol but you definitely sense its presence. Dry in the finish and surprisingly clean.

From a can produced 12/11/23. Cloudy orange color with cream head. Smells of orange. Medium body. Tastes of caramel malt with a dry herbal finish. Nice balance for a DIPA.

16 ounce can poured into a Willi Becher.
Canned 6/20/23

L: Hazy golden orange, 3 finger cream-white head, rocky foam is persistent, leaves lace.
S: Fresh mango nose to open, some resinous and spicy hops coming after.
T: Bitter and resinous, spice, mild alcohol, fruit sweetness is minimal, alcohol becomes more pronounced as it warms.
F: Creamy full body, enough carbonation for a crisp bite to finish.
O: Decent DIPA with a great mouthfeel.

Poured from a 16oz can into pint glass in September 2022. There was a canned date of 05/01/2022 on the bottom of the can. I drank less than 1 month after purchase.

Appearance: Medium gold color with 2-finger white head. It is deep with a very hazy complexion. The head is very thick, and it lasts a minute, leaving a small covering. There is a medium amount of lacing on the glass.

Smell: Strong aroma of pineapple and grapefruit, as well as some hops and pine. The aroma was moderately strong as soon as the can was opened. The fruit aromas are more prominent than the other aromas.

Taste: Nice balanced taste between the fruit (grapefruit and pineapple) and hops that is not overpowering. Also, some orange flavors. The sweetness and bitter edge are well-balanced. Has a very nice after-taste that lasts a moderate amount of time. Overall a nice balance and very drinkable.

Mouthfeel: Full bodied. Also, moderate average alcohol, which matches the 8.0% listed on the can.

This is a very good IPA. It has a nice mix of citrus, hops, and other flavors, which makes it enjoyable. The overall balance is excellent. I would definitely buy this again.

Got this on my last trip to Northern Virginia. Liked it so much i picked up 2 4 packs.

Looks pretty good very much like a dipa. Orange with a slight head and ok lacing.

Smell is sweet citrus that hits you when you open the can.

Taste follows nose with nice citrus and just enough hoppiness to make it a very good tasting brew.

Mouthfeel is good with soft carbonation. Good for this style.

Almost a NE dipa but not. Good beer that's worth trying.

From the rim on the bottom of the can: "12/01/21" There is text in front of the date but it is smudged.

Appearance: The body is gold with a bit of orange in the middle of the beer. It is very hazy and only very fuzzy shadows are visible through it. The head is medium-sized, white, and fluffy with a few dimples across the surface. It has good retention and lacing.

Aroma: It has a tangerine scent and a bit of alcohol.

Taste: There is a soft tangerine flavor up front with a bit of peach candy rings. Towards the middle there is a soft tangerine note and a soft alcohol note. No distinguishable flavor in the back of the mouth or aftertaste.

Mouthfeel: It is soft and pillow-like when drinking. It is very easy to drink and it has a light feeling but medium-textured body. Very little bitterness which comes across as a very light pith bitterness.

Overall: The beer comes across as a New England Double IPA. The can states that this is "BREWED WITH EL DORADO, SIMCOE, AND MOSAIC HOPS." The beer does live up to its namesake of "Lucy Juicy" with a juicy tangerine-like aroma and flavor. It is a pleasant beer. I could drink it from time to time and it is worth trying.
