Semi-hazy pale gold/orange appearance with a bountiful white head, good retention and lacing. Pineapple, apricot, peach, faint hoppy sweetness. Moderate body and carbonation, smooth.

 

 

16 ounce can poured into a nonic style pint glass.

L: Pale straw, opaque hazy, three inch white head with good retention and lace.
S: Hoppy and tropical, pear and stone fruit.
T: Topical hops, semi-sweet, assertive bitterness, smooth, no prickle or hop burn.
F: Medium body, soft and a little creamy, medium carbonation.

Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.

Quite a nice beaming and gem looking body color, of slightly hazy but glowing orange amber. Fluffy easy made three finger head with whip cream like appearances and some fine bubbles. Big rings of lace as well. Great looking IPA.

Aroma is very pineapple juice but very store box drink smelling. Exceptionally fruity hop angle so much so, that it feels like the beer is actually fruit brewed with actual pineapple. I can practically smell the sticky splinters. If this is your thing you will be in heaven.

Palate mixes it up a bit. First noticeable thing is the exceptional mouthfeel on this beer. This mouthfeel has such a creamy and wonderful texture that it's shocking, almost like a vanilla milkshake, but not matching sweetness. The flavors take a slight turn from the nose to at least make things interesting. Hop forward with still pineapple tropics, but more melon and cantaloupe flavors creep in nicely. It's a good contrast to the sugary sensing pineapple nose before it. Creamy fruity flavors, with a real twist.

Very unique tasting brew, what an interesting hop quality.

 

A - Very hazy light medium orange color with dense soapy sticky white lacing.

S - Light juicy grapefruit and faint lime aroma.

T - Pithy grapefruit and lime from start to finish

M - Big medium body and somewhat chewy.

O - Pretty solid, would be better if it wasn't canned on 3/15/19. Will re-visit this beer but for two months old, still pretty darn solid.

Hops: Motueka, Taiheke

Lemon-lime aroma, follows on the taste. Some mandarin orange peel in there as well. Super bright and refreshing.
