From the pint can, it pours a hazy amber color with a very nice white head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets a good dose of citrus, primarily grapefruit, with the barest hint of pine. The mouth follows with a wallop of citrusy malt with some bitterness evident, but not much.

From the bottom of the can on the lip, the first two numbers are smudged but they appear to be 03: "03:30:55-02/01/22"

Appearance: The body is very hazy but large fuzzy shadows are visible through the glass without any discernible shapes. The head looks great; it is large, fluffy, and white. Very good head retention and lacing.

Aroma: There is some pine on the nose with a hint of grapefruit. Alcohol aroma comes through with the grapefruit notes.

Taste: Up front there is some orange flavor with a light touch of caramel. Alcohol makes it onto the palate in the middle, with some grain flour flavor. There is a bit of wildflower in the middle and a touch of orange pith which becomes a bit stronger as it rolls to the back of the palate. Aftertaste is alcohol and rind.

Mouthfeel: It has a medium to medium-light body that is a bit chewy and a touch slick. Carbonation feels fine. Bitterness is medium.

Overall: The can states that this is a "DOUBLE IPA" that is "BREWED WITH HUELL MELON, MANDARINA BAVARIA, AND MOSAIC HOPS" and that it is "9.8% ALC/VOL." As a Double IPA it takes a somewhat more brighter approach on flavors and aromas with an enjoyable orange character giving it a pleasant and uplifting disposition. The alcohol comes through at all times while drinking this beer which isn't a huge detractor but it is worth mentioning. As a whole it was an enjoyable beer and I would drink it again from time to time. I would recommend it.

Canned on 1/27/21.

A - Hazy dark orange color with a thick layer of frothy bright white foam on top, low to no carbonation.

S - A little bit of chalky hop presence, sweet orange citrus, mandarin orange, tropical fruit, and earthy spice.

T - Nice fruity citrus from start to finish with orange being the more dominant flavor. Mandarin orange, orange citrus, tangerine, clementines, some juicy floral, earthy spicy citrus rind, mango, and some stone fruit. Lingering citrus resin coats the mouth.

M - Thick, silky, and semi-dry on the back of the palate why the rest of the mouth remains wet.

O - A solid and balanced D-IPA.
