The beer pours a nice bubbly brown head that dissipates at a moderate pace. The beer itself is a dark chocolate brown that looks nice. The texture is a bit oily but is still pretty nice.
The smell is good. It has a balanced mix of bourbon and chocolate notes with a bit of roasted malt poking through.
The taste is good. It starts off with a light roasted malt note before being dominated by the bourbon.
The feel has a heavy body but is also thin with a slick texture.
Overall, I thought this was a pretty good beer and is worth getting for those cold days.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a pint glass. Had a dark brown color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, tan-colored, somewhat long-lasting head. Above average lacing.
S: A pretty good aroma of chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, coffee, and malt.
T: Tasted of a fair bit of bourbon (and its accompanying barrel), a decent amount of malt (present throughout, though subtle), some milk chocolate notes (kind of sweet), and a hint of vanilla as well (lingers around for awhile). This is a solid, subtle, and focused flavor. It's not as boozy as you would think, but it does back a little punch.
F: A fair amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A generally well done beer. Worth a look.
