Revisit, July, 2024:
Golden, mostly clear (a very light chill haze), with a fuzzy medium collar on a hero pour. Nose is a bit more grainy than bready, with hints of a country field - mix of grass and floral. Taste leans a bit more on the malt - cereal to biscuit to bread crust. Mostly balanced with a barely spicy hop finish. Little more full than I expect, but very tasty.
Afterthoughts, on tap at brewery:
A nicely balanced beer between lighter colored malts with a hoppy finish. It had a couple toes in the classic German style with a softer impression from being less dry than what I think of from the style. This beer seemed like it could be one I rely on for an entire evening.
