If summer could be poured in a glass it would taste like Sun Kissed! Sweet tanginess of perfectly ripe, juicy orange accentuated with a pleasant bitterness from Citra and Lotus hops.

There is a date code on the bottom edge of the can: "04/17/24"

Appearance: It has a light gold body that is very hazy, but it's still possible to see through the glass fairly well. The head is thick, white, fluffy, and large. It has excellent head retention and it leaves nice blotches of lacing.

Aroma: It has a somewhat light aroma that smells a bit like wildflowers with a touch of grapefruit.

Taste: It opens with a slightly tart character that has a bit of a citrus feel. The middle of the palate has some grapefruit character and a bit of a sour cherry note. The back of the palate is bitter grapefruit peel with a bit of wildflower character and a very light touch of clover. The flavors in the beer are strong but they just feel strange.

Mouthfeel: It has a bit of a tartness and a light sourness with a medium strength bitterness. The beer is a bit of a sipper because of these characters but also because it just tastes a bit odd.

Overall: It's a bit of a weird beer. The label on the can states that it is "BREWED WITH CITRA HOPS AND ORANGES" and the "Sun-Kissed" logo mimics the Sunkist logo which further accentuates that this is supposed to be an orange forward beer. It has some sourness and tartness but it really tastes more like grapefruit than orange. It also feels odd when drinking, which is a combination of the mouthfeel and the flavors. It's the kind of beer you can keep sipping but each time you are likely to make a weird face. While it's drinkable and it does have some decent qualities, I don't recommend it as a whole because there are much better orange beers on the market. It's not a beer I would buy again.
