This saison was brewed with a Brett Farmhouse-blended yeast strain, and French oaked to give it a champagne taste and crisp finish. Full bodied, with a slight fruity aroma and spicy notes, this beer will push you outside your comfort zone. Where does the name come from, you might ask? A Barn Burner is defined as a huge and resounding success, originating in the idea of a party so riotously enjoyable that one ends by burning down the barn in which it is held. Yes. It's that good. But we'll ask you to contain your excitement in the taproom.

L: beautiful beer - brilliant chestnut permeated by streams of leisurely rising bubbles lying under a lacy 3" ecru colored foam blanket with good retention
S: has a little of the funky saison smell - ripe fruit and over ripe fruit - seasoned with dark malts, dark dried fruit, a trace of toast and dark bread crust.
T: flavors start mildly sweet with light banana and bubble gum, fruit, bread crust, fig, dark dried fruit, and fruit cake
F: very creamy medium bodied beer with medium plus carbonation
O: a very good beer and the oak plays a very nice role here in pulling the beer together
