Beer…Rye Beer. MI6 agents must drink in the shadows, slipping in and out unnoticed. While neither shaken nor stirred, this beer is smooth, rich and spicy with a little malt sweetness, perfect for any clandestine covert operation.
All the Bond girls love the spiciness and earthiness of this dark, hearty beer – it will have you never saying never to rye beer again!

750ml crowler can, purchased at the taproom. Fill date is marked on label as '12/9 (2022). Website has ABV% at 5.4%.
Amber brown colored body. Brief lasting light tan head. Leaves a few scattered spots of lacing.
Aroma is sweet caramel and toasted dark bread, with a touch of spice.
Taste is sweet caramel, with some dark fruit such as prune and unsweetened cherry. Malt also expresses some dark sweetbread. The rye spiciness is there throughout but is more prominent at the end of each sip, which turns the caramel into more of a molasses. Aftertaste is made up of all the flavors.
More than medium mouthfeel, with some syrup. Good carbonation.
A Roggenbier is rarely encountered, and this one has a lot of sweetness to go along with the rye spice.
