Presentation: 32 oz. brown growler. Served in a pint glass.
Appearance: The bright white, one finger head stays around for a little bit and leaves behind a lot of lacing all over the glass. It's a crystal clear, bright, pale straw color.
Smell: It's a beautiful, hoppy aroma of citrus fruit and pine. A touch of grainy, corn flour earthiness comes through in the background as well.
Taste: It's very well balanced with a strong, fruity and piney hop presence yet the bitterness remains soft. It finishes with a pleasant grainy sweetness. It feels quite boozy. The alcohol burn is prominent which doesn't ruin the taste but a lower ABV would do wonders.
Mouthfeel: It's quite light and smooth with some medium-high carbonation crispness.
Overall: A beautiful looking beer with a good aroma and taste. A tad high on the alcohol, unfortunately, for what's essentially a delicate beer; but the solid fundamentals are there for this to be great with some tweaking. Corn has been a much maligned ingredient in beer for a long time so it's awesome to see Boxlab showcasing it in one of their beers.
