Presentation: 32 oz. crowler, served in a stemmed stange.
Appearance: The bright white, one finger head goes away fairly quickly and leaves behind a thin foam ring and some patchy lacing. It's a clear, pale gold color.
Smell: It's mostly a fruity aroma of grapefruit, lemon and orange with some floral notes thrown in there as well. There's a slightly funky, dank aroma that's not exactly unpleasant but definitely doesn't gel with everything else on the nose.
Taste: There's grapefruit and orange peels, some lemon tartness and a soft, piney bitterness that coats the edges of the palate as it goes down. It's pretty flavorful and well balanced.
Mouthfeel: It's light, crisp and refreshing with a dry finish and medium-high carbonation.
Overall: A nice, refreshing beer that's pretty good. There's something "different" in the scent and flavor that's hard to pin down but it doesn't ruin the beer so it's honestly no big deal. Overall a solid offering from Boxlab.
