From a can at the Hamilton Airport
Appearance: Poured with a thumb's worth of head that laced exceptionally well and did managed to hold on past the 1/2 done mark. The body is a slightly darkened yellow and while you can still see your fingers on the other side, it's very much looking through hazy fog.
Smell: Millions of peaches, peaches for me. That said, they stand in front of a hoppy citrus background that is unmistakably galaxy hops. I might be catching a tea note behind all that (the core reason I bought the beer) but if I didn't know it was there, I probably wouldn't have mentioned it. Did not need any warming at all to come out.
Taste: Starts with sweet, juicy peaches with maybe a slight bread malt before the hops asert themselves as dry citrus comes forward before combing with a mild bitter tea end. I like that the tea is the end note, as it seems to keep the bitterness down. That said, it is very dry.
Mouthfeel: As I said, that end is very dry, almost too dry so you may want to pace a bit when drinking. The carbonation is very light and sudsy which restrains the peach and citrus aftertaste quite well. Transisitioning is very well done, but again, it needs to dial back the dryness.
Drinkabilty: I mean, because it's so dry, you want to keep drinking, but it gets to the point where it just isn't refreshing. That said, it's remarkably easy on the system and despite the haze, I would call this light bodied.
Final Thoughts: If this was an attempt to make lemon/peach iced tea in beer form, congrats, you almost succeeded, but oddly enough, you didn't water it down enough. If it could dial back the dryness here, this would be something truly exceptional.

On tap at the Mule.
Appearance- hazy park golden colour with some orange highlights. Small half finger of white head is poured and fizzles out pretty quick.
Smell- peaches and some tropical notes with a touch of sweaty dankness.
Taste- huge peach presence up front that quickly transitions to a grainy centre and some linger tea effects afterwards. Light citrus flavor underneath all that. Sweet but with enough bitterness to be in the level.
Mouthfeel- medium bodied, good expressive carbonation and semi-dry finish.
Overall - a pretty solid APA just loaded with peachy goodness. Another winner from Fairweather.
