Slickly fluid black with a short tan head that quickly dies to a lightly ridged collar.
Puckering but not sour, which is unsurprising for the plum. It's a bit floral, which kind of amps up vanilla, making it somewhat sharp.
For what is, I don't hate it, but it's not very quaffable.

From the brewery in Hamilton, to Edmonton courtesy of my daughter.
Pours a rich black with a solid finger of creamy brown head.
The nose hits initially with the cinnamon and some muddled spice, vanilla, and at points an almost vinous dark fruit aroma; as warmed notes of molasses and a hint of coconut.
Tastes of molasses, vanilla, some cinnamon with a general baking spice flavour, but again the plummy vinous note that verges to a little tart even, which I will say is not my favourite (beer with wine flavours rarely my thing) - this pushes away any sweetness. Some dark chocolate bitterness.
Full, slightly oily, mouthfeel with decent carbonation - a lasting note of spice and dark fruit.
