16oz pour at the brewery during lunch.
Clear brassy gold, small head, lots of carbonation. Smell is mild, dank, earthy, with some honeysuckle. Taste is pine resin and grapefruit rind bitterness. Not heavy. Somewhat delicate. Strong malt backbone. Mouthfeel is medium, dry, clean, just a bit prickly. Overall, good, traditional WC IPA that is not screaming fresh hops -- nudging and winking.
