Thanks to Jeff for this one. 750ml crowler into Night Shift stemware. Shared with schen9303.
Shocking how carbonated this one is after being in a crowler for 4 weeks. Nose is mango, pineapple, cantaloupe and cane sugar. Juicy, dank, and incredibly fruit forward. Not the most aromatic though. Beer opens soft papaya, fluffy mango and sweet pineapple. A touch of sweet booze in the middle but it never overwhelms. Some citrus and clementine towards the back with more juice at the finish. This one kind of just fades away slowly, leaving a sweet, fruity bouquet on the palate. Body is light to medium with moderate to low carbonation. Soft, fluffy and light on the palate and goes down quenching and silky with a dry, clean finish. The feel of these Barrel Theory beers never ceases to impress me.
Flavor-wise, this is the best I've had from Barrel Theory... but then again, every beer just seems to be better than the last!

these guys are quite obviously going for the juice bomb east coast haze thing, almost to a fault, all their beers almost looks and smell the same! however, if you take them in isolation, this one is easily the winner for me. it has a gorgeous aroma of fresh melon and citrus, remarkably intense, but no bitterness at all, no alcohol waft, and nothing intense about it, just mellow and round all the way, and the flavor is the same, with a stunning fruit cornucopia from the hops, a little white grape and white wine, but nothing that would suggest it is as strong as it is. i also had the tear drops and the drop tops in here, and they all sort of have the same thing going on, but this one is easily the best of the three, the most pungent on the hops and the most distinctive. smooth and full on the body, they definitely have more than just barley in these beers, but its also on the drier side and well carbonated. its hard to make good east coast style ipa. most of them arent worth a damn, but this is the best of them that barrel theory is currently doing. start here.

Poured out a hazy, golden orange color with almost no head to speak of. It smelled of orange, pineapple and grapefruit. Hints of pine, too. Toasted caramel taste with sweet tropical fruits and a fairly strong bitter bite.

Pours a cloudy yellow /orange color with nice streaks of lacing, Smell is tropical, floral with some dank pine. Taste is juicy tropical hops are in charge just a few citrus rind/pine in the finish, mixed with some heat. Soft mouth feel with some heat and a dry finish. Superb 2IPA cloudy, tropical ABV is nicely hidden but present.
