A huge thanks to Jeff for this growler. Barrel Theory is consistently turning out phenomenal beers and I'm just glad to be able to try them.
32oz. growler into Night Shift stemware. Shared with schen9303.
Beer looks like mango juice... no... mango puree. Nose is huge on the mango, passion fruit and guava notes. This beer's not messing around. It gets straight to the point. Opens big guava notes up front. A big, juicy tartness enhanced by the brightness of passion fruit and balanced by an overripe mango sweetness. I'm not sure how these guys are able to get this amount of fruit flavor into a beer but its something to behold for sure. Excellent. Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively on the palate and puckering and juicy going down. So easy to drink and so packed with flavor.
This is up there with the best berliner weisse's that I've ever had. No question. I look forward to more from Barrel Theory.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
