a good pale ale, definitely a hazy dry hopped thing, all the beers in here pretty much are right now. i think that east coast model is better applied to an ipa, it makes a pale ale seem heavy, sloppy, and sort of incomplete without the snappy bitter finish. its murky but heady, and has an awesome fresh hop aroma, citra and something higher alpha perhaps, but lots of malt character too, wheaty i would suspect, a little starchy, and somewhat substantial for a basic pale ale. the flavor is good, and there is some hop bitterness, but the juicy citrusy nature of the hops is the overwhelming flavor here, fresh and tasty. the malt is a bit much in terms of feel, and despite being dry still, it slows me down. this filled me up a little faster than i would have liked, but the hop complexion is great. if this were the only beer i had in here, i would like it more, but it looks, smells, and tastes a lot like most of the others, which i think is a negative. i get what they are going for, but this, and most of the others, are in need of some fine tuning if they are going to be all the way successful. not as easy drinking as i look for in a pale, but tasty new school beer nevertheless.

Poured a hazy, golden orange color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of citrus, toasted caramel and grapefruit. Nice fruity sweetness - lots of orange. Toasted caramel and bread.

Pours a hazed golden/yellow color with a soft white head and streaking lacing. Smells of grapefruit ,citrus and some dank pine. Taste follow nose with more pine and grapefruit than tropical notes its juicy slightly herbal/spicey with a slight bitter/dank finish. Mouth feel is soft on the palate and dry /bitter on the finish. 3 hops make up the profile of this PA and for the style its very good as far as the NE style not so much except for look.

White head. Slightly hazy golden sunset. Lace left.
The nose is what I love most about this beer. It has a muskmellon/cantaloupe flavor. Combine that with some apricots and hops. So nice. The flavor follows through nicely. Tons of flavor. Juicy and hoppy.
Pretty soft with little to no bitterness.
This is a winner. For being a pale ale this tops the charts for a competitive lineup at BT.
